Launch Status Check Quilt Pattern Test

Hello dear readers! Today I’d like to share my test quilt for the Launch Status Check Quilt designed by Maggie Reno (@maggiemugginsdesigns). This was the first quilt pattern that Maggie released and I am honored that she chose me to be one of her testers!

The design for this quilt was inspired by the original sawtooth pattern. Maggie changed and added a few details to turn them into rocket ships - so clever!

For this quilt, I chose to use fabrics from my stash. I had an adorable space/rocket/alien print that my mom gave me and I used that as the backing. On the front of the quilt, I used a selection of fabrics to make each rocket distinct.

Then I added in some hand quilted smoke flames and custom quilting on each rocket to make it special!
